Hello BG Choir Families ~

We have been very busy preparing for March!!!

1.  The District 214 Honors Music Festival will take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.  Student details can be found HERE.

2.  Our Chamber Choir, Bel Canto & Men's Chorale will all compete in the Chicagoland Showcase Concert Choir Competition on Friday, March 6, 2020 at John Hersey HS.  

Our times are:

• Men's Chorale ~ 5:30pm
• Bel Canto ~ 6:30pm
• Chamber Choir ~ 9:00pm

We have five students participating in the Classical Solo Competition.

Our times are:

• Ella Palffy ~ 7:25pm
• Holden Wheeler ~ 7:35pm
• David Gonzalez ~ 7:45pm
• Lida Tetyusheva ~ 7:55pm
• Braulio Muro ~ 8:05pm

3.  Our next and last Casino Night Fundraiser for 2019-2020 is Wednesday, March 11.  You may sign up to help us out HERE.

4.  Our Dolcé Choir will perform their March Concert with our BGHS Orchestras on Thursday, March 12 at 7:00pm in the BGHS Theatre.

5.  Our Vocal Jazz Ensemble, By Popular Demand, has once again been selected to perform in the St. Charles East HS New York Voices Jazz Festival on Saturday, March 14, 2020.  Our performance time is 10:30am.  Please join us!  The event is free ~ there are great vocal jazz groups performing from 8:30am - 4:00pm.  The evening concludes with a 7:30pm concert by the New York Voices.  Tickets may be purchased HERE.

6.  Our BGHS Band, Choir and Orchestra Programs will present our combined concert at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall at Northwestern University on Wednesday, March 18th at 7:30pm.  Participating Choirs are Chamber Choir, Bel Canto and Men's Chorale.  You will find the information HERE.  Please return the permission slip along with the $40 fee as soon as possible.

7.  Our next BGHS Choir Dine & Share will take place on Thursday, March 19th at Panera ~ 1603 N. Rand Road, Palatine ~ OPEN to CLOSE!  You will find our flyer HERE.
